Arabic classes if you would like to learn some Kuwaiti Arabic while you are in Kuwait.
RED FORT TOUR
The
Red Fort in Jahra is a desolated palace. Built almost 100 years ago it
was the desert Palace of the Al-Sabah family. It is also the site of an
historical battle in Kuwait's history. Join AWARE’s tour of this
desolate fort to gain an insight into Kuwait's history. Bus &
refreshments provided by AWARE. Fee: KD 3 per person
Meeting at the AWARE Center: 9am. Return Departure: 1pm. Advance

CAMEL RACES TOUR
The
Kuwait Camel Racing Club opens its season annually from November
through April. This rare sport is a 'must-see' for the western
expatriate audience. Many owners of the camels import distinctive racing
camels & hire coaches to ensure a strong start in this serious
competition. With robots mounted on the camels, this is a sport that
appeals to all! Join AWARE for an outing we think will add new meaning
to your experience of 'living in Kuwait'. After the excitement of
watching them cross the finish line you will enjoy a buffet at a nearby
desert farm. Departure from AWARE: 11am. Return Departure: 6pm.
Fee: KD 6 (AWARE Members), KD 8 (Non-Members) & KD 4 (Children)

KUWAITI TRADITIONAL FOOD EXHIBITION AND DISHDASHA NIGHT
The
AWARE Center invite you to the Kuwaiti Traditional Food Exhibition. The
exhibition will offers visitors to the AWARE Center the opportunity to
sample the wide variety of Kuwaiti’s traditional foods.
Look forward to trying “Margoga”, “Tashriba”, or “Balaleet”.
Visitors can also can also try on the traditional clothes on and have
their pictures taking. Men can try the “Dishdasha” and women can try the
