Kuwait Fog: The View From My House This Morning

Before

After

One of the most frightening experiences I've ever encountered in Kuwait is driving when it's foggy. You cannot see the hood of your car or even the side of the road to pull off to safety.  All you can see are the brief glimpses of flashing hazard lights zooming by as foolish drivers in Kuwait continue to speed.

When you live in Kuwait you are used to massive dust storms that also restrict visibility.  These frequent dust storms are nothing compared to driving in the thick fog.  If you are not an emergency room nurse or doctor then your job isn't that important. Whenever there are conditions like this in Kuwait it's better to wait it out until its safe enough to drive.  You might just save your life or the life of someone else.
