If you want to make me happy then please bring the True Blood, American actor, Joe Manganiello to launch your new franchise in Kuwait. He is just the most gorgeous guy in the world.
Hayati who? I LOVE you Joe! ;)

Thanks to my brother I'm now expatandthecity.com (LOVE U BRO!)
He tried to get me to move over to Worldpress but it was just too complicated for me. I just love Blogger because it's clearly for blondes. ;P It's too easy and packed with cool widgets.
Happy Ramadan everyone and it's good to be back to my second home. I hope to get back to Instagram soon so I can post some trip pics.
xoxo E&TC

Welcome back!! You have to tell us - how did it go with Hayati meeting your family??
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetheart! :) All went really well. I will post soon.
DeleteI'm wit you on this one, I read that he wants to play Christian in the movie, but I don't think he is right for that role. By the way, you may want to check in with the guy who has a crush on you in IT because Arifjan security has blocked your website. APPARENTLY you are a 'political activist'. I bet you never you thought that you would be up there with the likes of the Muslim Brotherhood. Just think, maybe Hilary will have tea with you! Welcome back to Shangri-la!
ReplyDeleteYes, according to USARCENT Policy Feb 1, 2009 I am blocked due to my Political Activist Group Status. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! Like Barbie meets Hezbollah? Please............! I think they are just PO at my American Guys post for telling the truth. ;)
DeleteMy British Blogger friend, LWDLIK is also blocked. DG and AG are wide open and not blocked. My IT stalker guy can't influence the military guys at USARCENT. I hope my Camp readers in Kuwait will use their smart phones or personal computers to continue to read the blog.
I agree that he wouldn't make a good Christian. He just needs to be my husband. ;)
Are you serious? They blocked access to your site?! How ridiculous! I remember when I used to work on Arifjan I attempted to maintain anonymity because I would blog (complain) about the employees I was there to assist. When I left I added several of them to my Facebook where a link to my blog is also located and they were shocked to find out I am the woman behind the blog. Now I couldn't care less about being anonymous but have opted to 'hide' years of previous posts. No need to risk hurting anyone's feelings by accident.
DeleteDG was blocked not too long ago for a half a day, I guess she somehow redeemed herself to these 'wiseguys'. Maybe you are next 'American Girl', I know they block 'Ladies who do Lunch', really? And they are marked as terrorists also or shall I be politically correct ' Political Activists'. What is so pathetic is that now they have turned on themselves out of pure boredom. They
Deletedon't seem to know who the enemy is and to not understand who the enemy is in this type of environment endangers everyone. You are as much a terrorist as Betty White!
@AG YES! They blocked my site and Arifjan is where a lot of my readers are located. :( I try my best to support the US Troops in Kuwait with this blog and I'm sad they decided to block it. Thank goodness you and DG are still up.
DeleteLOL @ you venting about your previous coworkers & then drafting old posts. It's always good to blog anonymously so you can let it all out.
@Anonymous ~ That's cute. I love Betty White and her new show. She is amazing!
DeleteI think all my Arab Times links to this blog have triggered the block. ;)
WHAT? Why would they block your blog? Your blog has neither political activity nor politically-driven posts. The majority of your posts are about your personal life, travels, shopping, and what catches your interest from the newspapers. Jeez! Talk about extra sensitivity.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your support. :) It might be a temporary thing. I noticed they blocked Arabian Business as well. Saying: News. LOL!
DeleteExpat, don't make excuses for them, they saw that many people were viewing your blog so they vindictively blocked you. I have never met more vicious, vindictive people in my life than in Kuwait.
ReplyDeleteI think they would have blocked other blogs if that was the case. There are good and bad people everywhere. I've made some wonderful local friends while living here. :)
