  2. Well I have seen in Kuwait many things but the worst was when a man pulled a woman over on the Gulf Road and took a piece of paper with his number and threw it on her face :O and she liked it :(

Well as an expat, I have no idea how to pick up ladies as I get very shy and start to blush like a tomatoe. I don't know how guys can do it? I am also not into picking up chicks as friendship lasts longer :) but even that is hard due to women having perceptions of men that aren't good in this society.

So no female friends unfortunately :(

    1. TKG, where are you from? Maybe you should try to join some expat events to meet some new friends. :) The Grapevine Kuwait has lots of events posted daily. I wish you the best. :)

  3. American -- Female

Been followed to my secure parking garage where he parked at the gate and tried to follow me on foot -- that one was scary.

Numerous 'flat tire' or 'car problem' pointers -- that's an old trick and never worked.

The pretend 'wrong number' game. Resulted in changing my number more than once before smart phones came along with the call blocking option.

Numbers and business cards left under the wiper blade of my car. Lame and never worked.

The infamous 'carve the number in the driver's side door' -- wait and offer to pay for the 'damage'. Perhaps the most stupid of them all. But it ensures a conversation must take place -- or so they think.

The 'run me off the road' attempt by blinding me with high beams from the rear while one on the left side tries to get me to drive into a parking lot and one car in the front blocks me with slow speed. Another scary one.

The typical following, chasing, blowing kisses, etc. Another lame attempt which didn't even get me to look.

I'm sure there are more, but those are the most memorable. Rarely did I ever hear a 'pick up line' since I avoided conversations at all cost -- including the paint damage incident.

Finally, these incidents took place simply because I'm female... I am not Super Model material! They happened in the day and evening hours. And not once did anything of this nature ever happen in Jahra -- perhaps why I feel more safe there than anywhere in Kuwait. I've been here many years and these incidents took place over a very long span of time.

Looking forward to hearing your crazy experiences here as well! I often remind female friends who come to Kuwait the same lessons I was taught waaaaay back in the day:

Don't look left, don't look right.
Keep your eyes inside the car.
    If you were a 2 in America, you're a 2 in Kuwait.
Flirting and relationships do not mean interest or love.

    1. Did you mean if you are a 2 in America, you are a 10 in Kuwait?

    2. No, a 2 in America is STILL just a 2 in Kuwait. But the standards are far lower when the women are assumed to be far easier.

    3. AG, Loooool! That's some crazy scary attempts to get your attention. You reminded me of one time I was driving back from Camp Buehring on 6 ring and this man kept driving up to my car and almost hitting me. I thought he was going to run me off the road and we were going approximately 120. He was pointing to the front of my car and I just knew it was another pathetic attempt to try and get me to stop for my number. I just ignored him and maneuvered my car to escape him. When I returned home I realized my hood was not shut and must have been open since the security inspection that morning. It was probably flapping in the wind but I couldn't see it from my car. It could have flown open at any minute and the Kuwaiti man was just trying to be a good samaritan and alert me. I felt ridiculous! Unfortunately the jerks that use this tactic to "cry wolf" almost caused me to get in a serious accident.

I promise to write more soon. Hopefully more people will comment. And you know I would love to hear from DG. She must have the craziest experiences after living here so long. :)

    4. LOL, I KNOW she's had some crazy experiences as well. However, in her case, she is absolutely gorgeous so it would only make sense they would follow her. In my case I often wondered if they really took that eye exam when getting their license :)

    5. Hahaha! The guys here are extreme! Either aggressive or "walk around like they're doing you a favor by gracing you with their presence"...the good ones are hard to identify :(

Btw, what does this mean, "2 in the US is a 10 in Kuwait"? :S

      Delete
    6. It's based on a scale from 1 - 10 for attractiveness. Women that are 2's in the West often move here and are treated like they are 10's. It's a humorous Western expression. :)

    1. Hey sweetie. I hope we get some hilarious true tales! I've heard so many at work. :P

    2. Wow... A lot of interesting tales in the comments :-)
Waiting to hear more from you ;-)

I haven't had any pick up lines from familiar ppl, coz I intentionally let ppl know I am married when they start getting too friendly without any reason... and it works all the time!!

But I’ve still had a couple of horrible experiences in Kuwait, in the first month when I landed here... I've been more cautious since then and have thankfully not had any bad encounters...

The second week when I landed here, I was hunting for an apartment, and used to travel often from Kuwait City to Salmiya to check out flats/buildings. One time, I was travelling alone in a cab around 6'ish pm and the cabbie was driving on the gulf road... I heard the wonderful sound of bikes and since I Lovveee bikes, I turned around to check out the bike (definitely not the guy!!) and I realized that I had made a mistake coz a couple of bikers started following the cab from all sides!! I was quite scared.. and the cabbie probably understood that and left the gulf road and took me to my destination through some roads/streets, that I don’t remember till date, coz I was too shaken up. I tipped the guy when I left the cab and Thanked him.. He really saved me that day !

One other time... I went to Souk Safat on a weekend to check out some business suits that I got stitched... and even though a lot of ppl had warned me never to walk through car parking areas, I walked through there to take a short-cut... and I was in for a horrible surprise as a weird guy standing by his car started making moaning sounds (you know what I mean!!)… And I physically ran from there, stopped the first cab I saw and came back home...

      2 lessons learnt
      1. Never throw a glance at any car/bike; and
      2. Never ever walk through a car parking area (especially when you don't even own a car in Kuwait) :-P

This might sound weird, but true... Kuwait is still any day safer from Delhi (India)... as here cars might slow down, stare at you, pass comments at you.. but they would probably never dare touch you... while in Delhi... they won't waste time in such activities, and just grab a girl, throw them in a car and rape/murder any girl... at the end of the day... Being a girl isn't easy in most parts of the world... I hope this bold/sweet blogpost of yours helps other women learn how to be safer in Kuwait :-)

      Cheers!!

      Delete
    3. Thanks for the tips and warnings. I've had very similar experiences in the parking lot and the moaning in the grocery store. Egyptian and local men. The Salmiya Sultan Center is the scariest. I promise to add some of mine soon. :)

    4. I forgot to add that I had no idea India was so dangerous. I guess nowhere is safe enough for women. :(

    5. SV, with all due respect, I think to taint an entire state/Delhi with such broad brush is a misinformed. I don't know which area you lived in but everyone I know living in Delhi is fine. Yes, there are incidents as you have mentioned but no more than they occur anywhere else in the world as perverts with deviant behaviour reside all over. If every woman in Delhi was being thrown in cars, raped and murdered, there wouldn't be any woman foolish enough to continue living there.

      Delete
    6. Anonymous (9.05 AM)... I agree, every woman is not being thrown in cars... I'm just saying that the percentage is much higher in Delhi... I'm a Delhite... have been born and brought up in Delhi, have most of my relatives/family in Delhi... I love that city... And obviously women won’t stop living there... my mother still lives there... but there have been innumerable bad instances with me and so many women around me that I am unable to accept that it is safe for women anymore... 90% of women living in Delhi would have been subject to eve-teasing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eve_teasing) at least once... Although since that is my city... when ppl here tell me that Delhites r so rude and don't have any manners, it hurts me.. coz well, I'm not like that... but then Delhi is not just you and me... it’s those 11 million ppl who live out there and sadly not all of them r like us... Sorry if I hurt ur sentiments... but Delhi is quite unsafe and thanks to Delhi... I am much more vigilant, street smart, and hopefully have the courage to act against eve teasing for the rest of my life... Delhi is called "The Rape Capital of India" and I would definitely want Delhi to lose this title... hope the situation improves soon (http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-10-28/delhi/30332107_1_crime-rate-violent-crimes-crime-incidents)

I didn’t want to defame my own city/ country... but there r good and bad things/ppl everywhere… and there's a huge list of the great things Delhi/ India has... I am proud to be an Indian… and coming back to the topic of this post… I’m not sure if there r good pick up lines in India... for starters.... My husband never used a pick up line for me…. so I guess I would never know... LOL ;-)

  6. Hey Expat, (dieing to know your real name)

Ive said some really crazy things infront of girls but the point is only to make them smile since most of them are too into it with poker faces or are trying too hard. Some have these faces that are so uptight, they might need some mefenemic acid.. and i feel unless saying something genuine, these pick up lines are very rude cuz i would get pissed if my sisters would hear them. to cut this short the most thing that gets smiles is meowing, or i yell out loud Hello 3any (which is an old way like a grandmother would say to kid meaning hello my eyes). But once ive been hit on by a group of women while running kinda shirtless. every time i pass them they would yell out something thinking i wouldnt hear since i pump the music up. They asked for piggy rides, they asked to touch me anyways it was annoying.

  7. Ive ran into many kuwaities in dubai.

for a period of my life, i adored them. I was actually talking to a rather famoous kuwaity. the hottest of them all hahah.

Parents are iraqi, but i have a european nationality.

I run into kuwaities alot in uae, and for some reason, they seem to love the fact that im from iraq :S.

Had several of them demanding my fathers number.
Onse, in global village, a kuwaity family were shopping. The son, who kept staring (handsome btw :P) asked his MOTHER to come and talk to me. I told her im iraqi, and she told me shes iraqi aswell, but lived in kuawit for more than 40 years. She then asked about me, and if i wanted to get married anytime soon. I informed her that im studying, and want to wait a few more years. Her son kept staring /he was around 24, tanned, 180 cm, nice style and most beautiful smile ever!). The this is, her son really attracted me as he was by far the most handsome kuwaity ive ever seen, with a really nice style. Most kuwaities dress gay :S.
well, she kept asking when i was to visit kuwait, and i told her soon. i will travel to iraq by car, and will stay in kuwait 4 days. she insited that id bring my mother to their house as they had soemthing important to discuss? the future of her children and mine. (my father would already be in irq).
I smiled, thanked her and wished her all the luck. I started walking, as her son came screaming that i forgot the number. I smiled, and kept walking. He bgged me to give him a chans, and that hes not like the others.
I did like him, but i was not to lower myself and take a boys number. I wouldent do that to myself. Hes mom should have asked for my dads number, which she didnt. I still regret this some times.. well.. this is the price u pay if ur country declares war against the hotties in the south xD

had another i cidence where a kuwaity blocked my car, rased with me and told me he was not going to let me take my car out (as he blocked it) unless i give him my fathers number. he was also around 24, 180 but alil darker than the first one. hes eyes were colored for some reason..not blue, but hazel. very beautiful, not in class with the first one, but i could definitley see myself with him :P

he told me he was the son of some1 important, and that even if i call the police, he owns them? (this was in kuwait).

he did not leave my side, and kept repeating how iraqi girls are the prettiest, and that thr was noway hed take a kuwaity woman after seeing me xD. allow me to laugh. well, he did not leave my side for a long time. and kept repeating how hot i am, and how he wants ourr children to have my "western nose" and "thin lips". I guess he loves how i have a "white" nose, lips and cheekbones, but with arab eyes and hair. most people seem to like that :S i like real beduin girls, like my cousins :(

    2. 100% honest. ormaybe not 100%.. when i think aboutit, the second one was not all that. although he did have the most amazing smile :P

Since im anonumus i can brag xD without sounding silly :P
but what i dont understand is why they keep talking although im iraqi :S?

      ohhh

btw, onse in a malll, 2 kuwaity guys approached me and a friend. they asked me where im from, i said iraq, then they just walked away?
worth mentioning that one of them, the one who asked, was wearing a pyjamas in the mall..

another time there were 4 kuwaities who thretened to hit my car if i ddi not allow them to go first. belive me, they ended up way behind me. i hit the car infront of me, just to not give them the pleasure to "win" a iraqi girl. the one in the passengerseat kept showing his bb pin on his ipad. (my car has 70% toning). they oculd still see silhuettes in the car, and did not leave us until we reached sheikh zayed road.

    3. kuwaities have a thing for iraqi girls for 2 reasons:

burtuqala simply means orange. my point is, after sadam fell, horomonaly raging arab man became more exposed to iraqi girls.. and 'burtuqala' was the pioneers of that movement..

but iraq and kuwait have a long history. Hell, kuwait belongs to us :P haha

      my aunties husband is kuwaity.

my mothers uncle took a kuwaity woman.

but we have more relatives in ksa. im from the Al-Shamamri clan. We speake with a saudi dialect.

    7. That video is a trip!!! Thanks for sharing and explaining what it means. I've seen some videos like that on Kuwaiti TV and thought it was made in the 1970's.

To the Iraqi lady: You were smart not to give him your number. They really do/say that to all the girls so you were smart to walk off. Be extra careful and take care of yourself first always. Thanks for your comments and I wish you the best with your studies in Dubai. :)

    8. LOOOL yeah iraqi women have the "I'm easy" reputation amount us kuwaties..LOL the burtagala comment killed me wallah

      Delete
    9. well, if you cant see the difference between a steady and respectful iraqi, and a hooker, well i must say that all your women must be at least as easy as us.

i come from a GOOD family. We dont need money. Im studying at the top uni in the middle east. my nationality can get me anywhere i want, at anytime.
i wont lie and say i wear chanel, since i find the major brands ugly and EVERYONE wears them. i prefer miumiu hhaha.
ive seen all continents, i dress with class. i drive, and i take care of myself. my dialect is almost pure saudi as im from the shammari family.

if you can compare ME with a women wearing nothing but a short dress, flat black hair and a ton of makeup, you my friends, have issues.

for the record! i did not want the kuwaity guys since i find myself way better than all of you! noway in hell ill let everything go wasted for a kuwaity. only a handsome iraqi can have a girl like me.

seriously, you people piss me off. we are in the middle of the war. some people dont have food. ofc girls will sell themselves. and you cant imagine how many of these women are from syria and marocco! they ruin our reputation.

dont you dare call us easy! we have more pride than all of you. everyone hates the kuwaities since you think you rule the world with ur mustaches and gayish brand clotes. GET IT. wearing brands from top to bopttom dosent make you look rich, just new-rich! Give up your attitudes towards my people. there are more than 30 million iraqis, and you let 1000 women change your image of us.

      yalla, m3 nfsek!

one more thing. if you are ignorant enough to not admit what a history we have, you are a true kuwaity. everyone knows how we were the first developed middle eastern nation. we had TVs and malls when you people were diving for perls among the fish. we lived in villas and mansions, while you lived in clay houses. we have educations, while youre education was how to catch a running donkey.

WE are the middle eastern pride, WE are the Iraqis. The mesopotamians. what are you?

I couldnt but help to see that you carry a lot of hate in your heart towards kuwaities. what a shame. my uncle died when saddam invaded kuwait, and despite that, I carry no hate towards iraq. i have nothing but respect for you.

There are good people and bad people every where. and if you live your life getting upset about what everyone else thinks, you are going to live a short life.

psst..not all kuwaities are what you seem. I am a kuwaiti and I dont even have a car.

    16. Expat a little word of advise - don't get involved in internal arab conflicts, especially with regards to Kuwaitis and Iraqis, the wounds are still deep. Mark (248AM) does not allow any comments, from his own people with regards to Israel - just not a good idea. I think when they start diverting their comments towards internal animosities, just don't post it. You look like a naive American and I know you are not, but you got played here.

it is true that SHE should stay away, but the debate is between me and a kuwaity. he started it by claiming that all we are worth is dancing and talking.

and wounds are still deep, i respect that. but you must undertsand that WE attacked YOU because you did not keep youre part of the promis after OUR people died in iran. lets not get into this anymore, since we do not have all the facts.

and expat is doing somehting good! she has a comment-field activated on her blog for a reason. we need to exchange ideas, in oprder to understand eachother.

however, when it comes to politics, youre comment is valid. expat is in a non-democratic country, and should watch what people comment.
if she crosses the border to iraq, there is PURE democracy. we do not fear anyone.

    19. @ the Iraqi girl, you accused Kuwaitis for running away when Iraq invaded Kuwait, then how do you explain the thousands of Kuwaitis, army and civilians, who died defending Kuwait? What about the 600 prisoners of war, whom were captured during the barbaric invasion? I urge all Kuwaitis to visit Kuwait House of National Works in Shuwaikh to see what Iraq did to Kuwait. There is a section in the museum that shows with pictures the brutal torture applied to Kuwaits and other nationalities along with the destruction of properties, desecration of the environment by burning 700 oil wells. It's in Shuwaikh, Street 7, Villa 32.

    20. Hold on! When did Iraq become purely democratic? Was it during Saddam Hussein's reign or is it nowadays, when it's run by Iran? FYI, I don't hate Iraqis, as I know that many Iraqis did not support the Iraqi invasion, but it's funny that you try to justify the invasion with your "alleged reasons". The fact that the maps in the geography books taught in schools in Iraq do not show Kuwait speaks volumes, which is in display in the aforementioned museum in my reply. So, I recon that you guys do not consider Kuwait an independent country? The post was about flirting, but you successfully managed to turn it into Kuwait vs. Iraq, and I couldn't set back and let you twist the facts without exposing you. If one person insulted you, then insult him back or belittle him, but don't insult an entire country and call us cowards, or justify the terrorist act of erasing an entire nation from existence. One more thing, I don't recall the Iraqis revolting against Saddam, the Tunisians, Egyptians, Lybians, Yemenis, and Syrians did. How do you like them apples? Now I'm done ;)

I deeply respect every one's human right to "freedom of speech" but this blog isn't the right place for this serious discussion. I may be an American but I love a Kuwaiti citizen dearly with all my heart who lost his Uncle during the invasion. His family stayed and fought for their country. I also love this country: Kuwait.

    22. Ok. I have never seen a "beautiful" war, and You must accept that an invasion could never lead to anything good. I, for one, am not proud over the fact that Iraq invaded Kuwait. If you must know, my grandfather worked in Kuwait and the money he sent back home allowed my family to becaome who we are.
However, I stick by my point that YOU betrayed us. It is okey for our husbands, sons and fathers to die in the process of protecting our fellow brothers, the arabs (Kuwait was not an exeption), but when you are the victims, all of the sudden we should all break down in tears for you.
If you were brave, why did you not stand by our side to fight Iran? You gave us money, but expected us to give our blood. Do not come and claim anything else, brother.

Did you read your post? 600 war victims. We have MILLIONS.
Your "misery" fit inside a villa, our whole NATION is filled with misery. Do not compare!

I will admit that our people did destroy your houses, but if you are ignorant enough to disagree with the fact that we gave you around 1 million KWD/person, I will not argue with you.

AND about the oil-wells, who are the onse who keep digging in Mina Mubarak? Its OURS, get your hands off it!

Well, the West do not admit the Persian Guld to be Persian, do you see the gulf fading away? Why do you care what we learn in school? And yes, Kuwait was a part of Iraq since the time of Mesopotamia, you must understand that some people do not admit change.
I, for one, would NOT classify us as the same people. We are very different. To be honest, I would not want to be compared to Kuwaities, would hurt my self-esteem and dignity.

And fyi, Iraq is a pure democracy ;) Look it up. Hurts, dosent it?

And why would we revolt against Saddam? We are millions, and half the population supported him. It would lead to a civil war. We had enough of wars.

And one last thing. Hahah! I like how you look down on Iran, when half your population are Irani but claim to be arabs xD.
At least we are pure. We do not have farisi as our mother-tounge. But I must admit that I would rather be ruled by Iran, than dance for the Kuffar.

Do not compare Our misrey to yours. You have never seen misery, we have lived it over and over.
Do not be too arrogant, nothing lasts forver. So keep yourself happy and proud, because one day you will only have the memory of what used to be.

  8. Female- filipino

Unfortunately for my race, we don't get a lotta respect (maybe because I'm from a third world country or because they think most filipinas are hookers) so I don't have a "punchline" story to share but I do get winked at (mostly by male teenagers with raging testosterone), get random HALLO!, asked "how much" I cost, and this one time, my ass was grabbed in a public mall.. I will never forget that because it was the first time I lost my shit and screamed in public. :)) I wasn't even wearing anything tight-fitting or provocative. I was all covered up (it happened during the winter season and I was wearing a loose and long sweater + loose sweatpants) but I guess my butt is irresistible. :)) I try to look like a mean b*tch at all times so that guys wont think that I'm the kind of girl that they can "buy" but its inevitable... I still get harassed-- whether I've made an extra effort to look good or I'm having a bad day and look like crap..

    Oh well..

    2. Honey, I feel for ya! I have Filipino friends that go through Hell. Their stories of all these old Western men who could literally be their grandpa constantly hitting on them. The men assume that all Filipino's are the same. They get so insulted and sometimes afraid to go out.

If I was Filipino I would dress extra conservative for my own protection. I see a lot of ladies who do not dress as if they are in a Muslim country and standing alone at the bus stop. After reading the Arab Times and all the kidnapping I would be very afraid.

Regarding the hooker thing: I've been mistaken for a Russian in Dubai and Bahrain. Even by real Russian men on vacation. It was insulting because they all seem to think all Russian girls are for sale. I'm carrying a 5k Chanel bag and dripped in jewels and designer clothes so I'm not sure how they thought they could afford me. (LOL, a little humor.)

I went straight to security as they followed me and you should do the same thing. Stay safe! :)

    3. I forgot to add that even when I told them (Gulf Arabs and Russian's) I'm American they just laughed in my face like I was lying. They think you just want more $. Damn, they really ticked me off! Security took care of it in every case. :)

  9. Woman dragged along her ankles on Gulf road
Kuwait: Search is currently ongoing for a well-built man who physically assaulted a female driver on Gulf Road recently after she ignored his harassment. Police rushed to the location Friday night after the victim made an emergency call and found her on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The Kuwaiti woman explained to officers that the suspect forced her to stop at the side of the road before pulling her out of her car, grabbing her ankle and dragging her around on the floor. The suspect then tore her scalp out before getting back into his American-made SUV and driving away. The woman’s torn clothes and bare hair served as evidence to her story and she was hospitalized before being helped to the Maidan Hawally police station to file the case.

    1. I read this in the paper and I really hope they catch the guy. :(

I've been run off the road, blocked and chased by crazy local guys on my way to work and home. It was terrifying and I kept ignoring them which didn't work. The sad part is that this happens to girls in Kuwait all the time. Ignoring them sometimes just makes them mad and very bold.

  10. Funny thing is that I've worked Joey's line into a conversation many times and it usually ends up building attraction. As a first liner, I've only had it work while abroad, but in Kuwait I've only received good responses if I somehow used it in the middle of a conversation after already subtlety letting the woman know that I find her attractive.

As for random experiences getting picked up / attempting to pick up, I should explain a little about myself first.
I'm a 23 year old Kuwaiti, born and raised. Cultural demographic wise, I'd fit into the "All of the Above" category. From my fathers side I'm part Indian, Irani, Iraqi and Kuwaiti. From my mothers, mostly Kuwaiti, with some western European decent, so that side of the family tend to be Caucasian. I look more on the side of south Asian decent, with a bit fairness added.

When approaching Kuwaiti women whom I have not and the pleasure of meeting yet, I'd say 90% of them will just ignore any attempt by me to talk to them, making them seem arrogant and rude more then anything else. But alas, I understand their reasoning for completely ignoring a man's advances, especially considering my age and perceived ethnicity, and not to mention the cultural aspects and boundaries of living in an Islamic society.

A month back I saw this gorgeous young Kuwaiti girl driving a Porsche Cayenne, blasting a trance song that I LOVE, dancing in her seat, as well as singing a long. Now I'm not one to stop a girl or woman in her car, but she was the exception. After finally grabbing her attention, I got her to open the window and lower her music enough to make my attempt to pick her up. It was working up until the point where I asked for her number. She then said "I'm flattered, but I can't see guys who aren't Kuwaiti." That killed my attraction towards her, so I ended the conversation in Arabic saying the usual goodbye greetings with a charming smile on my face at which point her jaw dropped and she had this expression of excitement on her face. I proceeded to drive off with a nice big smile.

As for expats, I've been picked up by a few, or well they tried :)

When I was 17 and at the vet at the Friday Market with my Great Dane pup, there was a middle aged woman from Alabama who tried to pick me up. I saw my regular vet, and he came over to greet me. I was going to be next, so I sat back down after our brief greeting. Once I sat down the woman asked me where I was from because I had a "perfect accent." I told her to guess, which just fueled the conversation. To make a long story short, once my dog got his shots and I was out the door, the woman followed me outside and grabbed me by the arm. She then put a 20kd bill in my pocket along with a sheet of paper with her number on it, and told me to call her since she was new to the country and needed someone to show her around... I walked away 20kd richer :D

The most unexpected attempt from a woman to pick me up though happened a few months ago at the Avenues mall. It was my first time going there, and to a certain Starbucks employee, she noticed. A Filipino woman working there was eyeing me once I walked in and made my order. She waited for the man who made my drink to finish, then took the drink from him and wrote something on it. She then came up to me and said "one mocha frap for mr.sexy!" while ,looking around me then finally locking eyes. I burst out laughing at that point, not at her, but at how cheesy a pick up she had attempted. I looked at the bill she handed me with the drink and her number was on it, as I looked back to her she winked and walked back behind the counter.

Ahhh being young is awesome x)

It sounds like you are a normal young guy enjoying your life in Kuwait. As long as you remain a gentleman and show respect you can't really do any harm. :)

  13. There were about 4 more heated comments that I didn't publish because this post turned into another topic all together. A very sensitive topic that could easily hurt a lot of people. For now it's just not wise for us to publish them with all the censorship issues in the Gulf region. If I was in America I would have published them and let the heated debate continue. I might publish them one day but probably not while I'm still living in Kuwait.

Sorry for everyone that got censored in the end but please understand where we are living. Thank you.
