Fifty Shades of Grey is on its way!

I finally ordered the Fifty Shades book trilogy and I can't wait to start reading the first one, Fifty Shades of Grey.  I've heard it's banned in the Middle East so of course I'm going to only keep it and read it on the US Camps in Kuwait. :)

If you are one of the few people on earth that hasn't heard about the trilogy you can click (here) to find out what all the excitement and bondage is about. I read (here) that thanks to the first book the sales of rope has gone through the roof in the US at local hardware stores.

I think this shy girl from Louisiana would only end up using the rope to tie her possible future Kuwaiti husband up to prevent him from going to Diwaniya. ;)

  1. I love this book! I am on book two, you might as well buy the whole trilogy, because it keeps you interested. But if you future hubby/boyfriend suggests that you install a 'red room' in the house, this book will educate you on what you are in for and it ain't pritty. It's not really well written, but after you put it down it stays with you and you want to read more - that is a good book, plus I think alot of people don't know about this 'world' and are curious how an innocent girl like Ana gets involved in the epitomy of a perfect specimen of man, Christian's 'grip'. Being involved with a Kuwaiti, I think you might question some of their tactics as being a bit like Christian's, who knows, maybe their are 'red rooms' lurking around Kuwait homes.

  3. Why doesn't anyone own a kindle D:. You shop at amazon, you must have seen their big ads of the Kindle. Its the best damn thing ever created after fire, and the wheel. It basically allows you to download books ( You can get em free anywhere), it uses E-Ink, some magnetic ink thingy so it's basically an electronic book. It's anti glare so you can read it direct sunlight ( Even kuwaiti Sun-light). Not exactly like reading a physical book but damn, I got so much books that I cant even imagine how much they would have cost me.

-Bo, Your normal everday, kindle reader.

    1. There is nothing like the look, smell and feeling of a new book between your fingers. I like to take bubble baths and read. Also enjoy them at the beach and pool. I'm not knocking Kindles but they're not for me (yet). :p

  4. I have the trilogy on my Kindle but it's a little hard to get to grips with when your 9 year old is watching Hanna Montana on the sofa next to you.

  5. I know what you mean, But I prefer older books over new ones. Had an ANCIENT set of classics my aunt handed down to me. Well, long story short, I read while I'm laying on my back. And debris of paper and dust keep falling into my eyes xD. Still love em <3

    3. Expat - if and when you comment on this book after reading it, can you be very discreet, not that you wouldn't because we can always leave it as our 'expat' secret in Kuwait. Some of us read it on the planes and they don't have a clue what I am reading, get my point.
