It's Fleet Week in NYC!

Young guys and gals answer the call to arms when Fleet Week hits New York and brings boatloads of sailors and Marines.

The boys are back in town!  It’s Fleet Week and come Wednesday, boatloads of sexy sailors will hit the streets.

By Nicole Lyn Pesce / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

And as anyone who’s seen the infamous “Sex and the City” episode knows, these lonely servicemen are looking for a good time after months at sea.

Step up, New York gals — and do your duty.

“Women love men in uniform,” says Lori Zaslow from Project Soulmate, a Manhattan matchmaking service, “and New York is happy to be a good hostess.”

The thousands of Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard members flooding the streets add fresh blood to the city’s overcrowded dating scene.

“That’s a lot of men, which increases the odds in your favor,” Zaslow says. “Get into a little sailor skirt and introduce yourself — you don’t have anything to lose, because you’re probably never going to see them again.”

Netting a sailor or muscled Marine can be a shore thing — if you know where to look.

We’ve rounded up the ports of call where the Fleeters are definitely dropping anchor, as well as some suggestions for sealing the deal.

*** This article almost sounds like it's telling girls in NYC to do their duty and surrender the booty to support the troops. I promise you we are not told this on the US Camps in Kuwait! It's the other way around...

  1. All you guys on Camp Arifjan that fly that UA flight where the TSA cuts your locks on your luggage whilst in the States and leaves it open all the way to Kuwait (I've seen your luggage on the carrisols at KIA) they are stealing from your luggage at KIA. Yes,I am talking about those annoying smelly porters that seem to be like ants all over KIA are stealing from unlocked luggage. WARNING. according to today's KT newspaper. Read Below.
    Bangladeshi Airport thieves
Kuwait: Three workers were arrested recently for stealing items from luggage they opened at Kuwait International Airport. Investigations went underway following reports by passengers about items, mainly laptop computers, missing from their luggage after collecting them at the airport. Detectives eventually caught three Bangladeshi workers sifting through luggage intended for a flight to Cairo in Egypt. The suspects first denied accusations, but eventually admitted responsibility for the multiple reported thefts. They were referred to the proper authorities to face charges.

    1. this is offtopic..but since you brought it up, airport thieves are a true problem.

I lost my laptop to the TSA thieves in miami.

When I opened my luggage after reaching kuwait, I couldnt find it and I found the lock broken.

When I talked to the airline company they told me I should never leave anything expensive in my luggage. and they are not responsible for any theft. it happens everywhere, and the fact that you cannot hold the airline companies accountable, is ridiculous.

Evidentally, Kim Kardashian is mad also about her luggage being ramsacked and precious items stolen also. They cut your TSA approved locks after check-in and leave your luggage open to KWT.
