Fresh Baked Bread and Pastries From Paul's on a Friday Morning at Al Kout Mall in Kuwait

Seating is available inside and outside by the fountains.

Their bread is just scrumptous!

I like almost everything at Paul's but wish they would start serving breakfast by 8 AM.

Berrylicious!

Friendly Filipino staff.

Everyone is sitting outside while we order our bread and pastries.

Very clean and look at all the fresh ingredients...

Slicing our fresh baked bread for a very happy ending. <3

  1. This is one of the malls I've not been to... and now I'll try to visit it for the first time on a Friday morning only :-)

  2. This is a separate topic. For years I have read numerious accounts in 'Crime Beat' in the Arab Times about the arrests of people that are into sorcery. What are they talking about? You have lived here a long time and is this woman below a sorcerer? What is a sorcerer to them? Why would a woman try to enter this country from a border post only to do sorcery? I actually find all this sorcery stuff amusing. I have travelled to Morocco, so let's talk about real sorcery, not like this article states? And what are these tools? They keep talking about these tools? Can you elaborate on your post what you think all this is about so we can have some understanding on this issue. I threaten people at work with voodoo, maybe I should change my tone around here. :)

UK woman held: Customs officers at the Abdali border post are said to have taken into custody a British woman of Iraqi origin for possessing tools used in black magic and sorcery. The authorities have put the value of these items at KD 25,000, reports Al-Rai daily.
Without going into details the daily said the suspect has been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for investigation and legal action

    1. This might be a better question for AG. I will give it a try...

It's my understanding that many Muslims believe that Black Magic exists because it's mentioned in their holy book. (I heard this but I'm not sure if it's true since I'm a Christian.)

There are some con artists that take advantage of this and offer their services for a sum of money. Usually it's several hundred KD. If these con's are caught they are put in jail and sometimes even death as was the case recently in Saudi Arabia.

When Arab men travel to places like Morocco, Egypt & Thailand some people think that the women use black magic to catch them. As Westerners we know that it's not black magic but "me love you long time" for a little bit of $$$ so I can have food on the table for my family.

I have no idea about their tools but maybe it's something the con artists have to fool their clients?

    1. Hi Teppi :) Maybe you can suggest that they start a cooking class on the weekends? I want to attend as well. That would be fun!

  4. Here we go again - she spent too much time in the bathroom with tools so she is a sorcerer? I agree with the party above - this is weird. poor girl, I bet she was just trying to get a break from these people@#$#
