Simple - President Obama will not bomb Iran, the Repubicans, will. So although it is good for US contractor business, it is not good for the region. Iran can be handled diplomatically and the Strait of Hormuz should not be closed for any reason which could stop the flow of oil going through and send the global market into a tailspin. If you plan to stay living here, vote for President Obama!
Thanks for your advice but I still have no idea who to vote for. :(
I feel voting is a rather personal thing since there are so many differing opinions. However, I proudly admit my vote belongs to Obama -- but surely this isn't a secret to anyone who knows anything about me. I'm as liberal as one can get, embrace our differences, and support equal rights for all. But the most significant reason I'm voting for Obama is the fact he's accomplished so much (considering the mess he came in behind) yet he doesn't pat himself on the back. He gets the job done and expects us to be intelligent enough to see it. But I disagree with the above statement; if you want to continue living here and working as a contractor -- Obama probably isn't the wisest vote. He's trying to decrease war -- in turn decreasing the need for contractors and Military overseas.
I agree that voting for Obama will decrease US contracting jobs in Kuwait. I'm a registered Democrat but I'm not as impressed with Obama's record. I wonder if anyone could do a decent job with all the bickering and fighting that happens instead of actually working together to improve our country. Thanks for your comment AG. xoxo
