He was actually driving fast with the small child hanging out of the sunroof. I'm so tried of seeing innocent children in danger on the Kuwaiti roads! It's bad enough that we have to share the roads daily with speeding maniacs but there is no excuse for putting a child at risk like this for attention.

It's like anything around here - once the novelty wears off, it is time to get rid of it.
ReplyDeleteI saw one hanging out the sunroof with the mother (no, let me correct that: "the woman who pushed the kid into the world through her private part") doing about 120kph on 5th Ring Road this week.
We saw one yesterday; a man driving a Tahoe with a child about 4 years old laying across his lap, feet hanging from the driver window. Hindering both of the driver's arms and legs! Had there been an accident that little boy would have been his airbag!
ReplyDeleteChildren are our precious gift. They depend on their parents to know what's right... and to do it! It's a parent's responsibility to ensure the highest level of safety for their children at all times.
I'm appalled everytime I see a child jumping all over a car, hanging from windows/sunroofs, or sitting in the back of a pick-up truck.
Maybe there should be an advertising campaign or maybe everyone should use social media to make others aware of the danger.
ReplyDelete:( Don't they care about their kids. Sigh

Yesterday, driving home from work I saw two cars with small children hanging out of the windows. Don't they know that the smallest accident will send their child like a bullet through the window to certain death? When these neglectful parents find out I'm afraid it will be too late. :( The only hope for change is awareness, education and enforcement of the law.
