Astronomical Clock: Every hour, the bell rings, 15th Century statues of the Apostles circle inside the clock while a man blows the trumpet. Tourists gather every hour to witness it.

Steak with spinach dip, eggs and gravy sauce. I avoided pork and alcohol out of respect for him. When he was at meetings I made up for lost time. Teeheehee! The Czech Republic cuisine is filled with pork. He wasn't a fan. Lol!
My Hotel Room in Prague...Not the Ritz Carlton but I loved the location. I could walk to everything by myself while he was working.
My room could use some pink in it!

La Seine river cruise. We have a photo kissing at the Eiffel Tower that turned out perfect. :D The view was spectacular but the weather wasn't as good as the last time I went there with my Mom.

Some of your photos are identical to my photo album! I stayed at Grand Praha Hotel ( right in front of Astronomical clock) and eat lunch several time in neighbor hotel U Price.

ReplyDeleteWe had a fantastic time and the weather was pretty good. It was a bit crowded since it's the best month of the year to go. There was also a music festival.
This was my second time to visit the Czech Republic. The first time I was on the Europass and traveling all over Europe with my best friend Sharon. This time I behaved myself. ;)

ReplyDeleteAnonymous ~ It’s called the Old Town Square hotel. (See picture above.) The hotel is nice and the location is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThe only issues we had was our phone bill and the last day. He is hardheaded and didn’t take the time to get a sim card for our mobiles. We used the room telephone to call Kuwait and America. The phone bill was over 500 Euros! No joke! He paid it and didn’t say anything to me. I know he learned his lesson and didn’t want to admit it. So don’t use the hotel room phone unless you want to get robbed.
The second issue was our last day. He paid for a late checkout because our flight was late. We packed our stuff in the morning and went to breakfast and shopping. (He loves to shop and we have to buy most of his immediate family member s expensive presents.) When we returned to the hotel to freshen up for our flight they had our bags in the reception area. The new lady at the reception desk wasn’t informed of our late checkout so they just took it upon themselves to put us out of our room. Other than that it was a good hotel and we enjoyed our stay.
Paris looks amazing! The steak looks good, if only it were bigger. No wonder Parisians are skinny! Glad you had a good time! :D
