Apologize with Food

I love flowers but I didn't get a single one. *sigh*

Melenzane

Melenzane Italian take out delivered to my Haras on Wednesday. Dinner was waiting for me when I arrived home from work. I was mad but my hunger got the best of me.

Chicken Strips with Corn Flakes and Spicy Mayo ~ Yummy!

Giant Buffalo Mozzarella and Sun-dried Tomato Balls.

Lasagna ~ Where's the ricotta cheese? More cheese please. :P

Very Spicy Shrimp Pasta ~ Yummy!

Not shown: The Caesar Salad and Red Velvet Cake.  They were okay.

Tatami

(Out to dinner where he cried and begged for my forgiveness. Kidding! Nobody cried. ;)

Japanese Salad

Shrimp Spring Rolls

Sesame Steak and Fries

Wagyu Beef Steak and Fries

Chocolate Hot Fudge and Vanilla Ice Cream

Tatami is the place where we officially made up and he promised not to give me the "ignore treatment" anymore.  The chef is a Kuwaiti female and she greets everyone at their table. The food was delicious and I would definitely go back again.

I know I embarrassed him by taking photographs of our food at the restaurant.  He gave me this look like I'm crazy.  I'm used to that look. Teeheeheehee.

  5. New Bride ~ Thank you :)

Hahahhaha, so true! I told him I took the pics for my friends and he is like, "Why don't you just order them a dish for take out?" I usually don't take pics of our food when we go out because he really looks embarrassed. Besides, I'm not a good food critic. I'm too picky and I tend to order the same thing. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't try half the restaurants and food that I do while living in Kuwait.

  10. So happy you guys made up! The silent treatment is so not cool.

I've been to Tatami, have you noticed the place was filled with girls? The chef told us its normally a hotspot for women more than it is for men! There was literally one man in the corner the whole time I was there!

  11. Thank you so much. :) Yep, it hurts when you don't know why they are ignoring you.

Lol! I noticed that all of the restaurants he likes to go to are full of girls. If the food wasn't that good then I would be worried. ;)

  12. Noticed it too. The majority of the Japanese restaurants in Kuwait are populated by girls. I'm guessing cuz food is not 'junky' as most restaurants. Thus, paying a visit to these places don't count as cheat meals/days. Plus, Japanese restaurants are looked at as upscale spots. Just a theory I assume.
