Thanks so much everyone. :D I'm still not feeling well so I will have a simple birthday dinner tonight with loved ones. I was supposed to travel this weekend before I start my new job but I postponed it until I feel better. It's still a terrific birthday. :D Thank you again for your lovely comments.
Hi Expat, Apologies for the late b-day greetings, I can only plead the long exam session. Happy Birthday & may you have a fruitful year & a lucrative career. btw, I've just passed my PhD :)
Thanks, Expat. I have some minor corrections in the thesis, which I have to do til late July/early August. World travel is a must, but it depends on whether I start teaching at the beginning of fall semester or not. I did some travelling around while I'm here in UK, as I've been to all the core Brit cities, Wales, and Scotland, but I guess I should explore some uncharted territories. Anyway, enough 'bout me cuz it's your day. Happy Birthday sweetie and hope that you're feeling well now :)
Mo Mo, I think it's the best time to travel when you just finish University. My parents encouraged me to do it. I hooked up with my best friend that I met while living in London and we backpacked throughout Europe. She was studying in Germany and I was in Utrecht, The Netherlands. I do love living in Kuwait since it's an excellent base for travel. Congrats again! :) When do you return to Kuwait? What will you teach?
I'll be teaching translation & linguistics. I guess I'll be back for good once I sort out the corrections early August. You're right! I need to travel before the I get back.
