“That's what learning is, after all; not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we've changed because of it and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way, is winning.”
Richard Bach (American writer)

even though they lost the game, I think USA football team has made a great advancement in the game. many chances were lost, but I expect in say 4-5 years U.S. will compete with A-list teams.
ReplyDeleteI think all Americans should be proud of team USA for their efforts in this World Cup, they were one of the best teams and they go out with heads held high, the only thing I'm worried about is that all this enthusiasm for soccer by Americans would die - meaning it was only a temporary thing! Hope not
ReplyDeleteTaz ~ Thanks for your comment. :)
ReplyDeleteAli ~ I agree but with every year soccer in the US gets a little bit bigger. I'm sure this World Cup has created some interest that will remain. I'm not a fan of soccer but I will always support the US team. Thanks for your comment. :)
I didn't see it coming! They both played well :)
